April 8, 2024 – my first time seeing a total eclipse!
We drove up to Colebrook, NH and ended up shooting from an (official) improvised parking lot in an industrial park. I had done several practice sessions, but as expected still encountered a variety of problems including losing focus on the 600mm lens several times and the GoPro dying during totality.
However, seeing the eclipse in person through glasses and binoculars was truly amazing. And the photos mostly came out, too. Details in the captions.
